Three useful apps Londoners and tourists moving around the city, has been the BlackBerry marked as potentially dangerous in the previously available versions and deleted from the BlackBerry World. If you install them on your phone, especially for OS version 7 and older, it is recommended that you remove or special care.
problem relates primarily to people who use the Oyster Card transport. Information about them made to the application, such as user name, password or card number is sent to the server without any encryption provider (in plain text), and using an unsecured transmission. Users are not informed at the same time or the manner in which these data are transmitted, and therefore may not be aware of the potential danger, nor about the fact of transferring the data.
listed as dangerous are three programs: Tube Maps, Tube Map for BlackBerry 10 and Bus Map.
application for BlackBerry 7 and older was therefore deleted from the BlackBerry World, while the version for BlackBerry 10 went through a new, revised edition.
