BlackBerry smartphone offering for the poor - Business Pulse

Thorsten Heins, President of the BlackBerry, gave at a conference in Orlando, the Q5 model will be a hit. The head of the company did not reveal too many details about the specifications of the device, but it is known that the smartphone has a classic QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch touch screen.

BlackBerry specializes in the production of more expensive smartphones targeted primarily at business people. The company has suffered greatly, however, a challenge to competitors who have dominated the market in recent years. It’s mostly about Apple and Samsung.

Model Q5 to be a cheaper option for selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. BlackBerry excels in countries where the smartphone market is not yet saturated.

manufacturer has not disclosed price of the device, which will be offered in a variety of colors – black, white, red, orange, and even pink. New style similar to the familiar BlackBerry Curve series and the recently launched high-end device Q10.
