From time to time there are rumors that this, or that the corporation is interested in buying some or all of the BlackBerry. This is a long time and most of the rumors is after a while denials. The situation is so new that the bid consortium led by Fairfax Financial has balanced some doors.

It became clear that the BlackBerry has been put up for sale. Many companies will want to now look at the “product”, which means looking in the tax books and analyzing manufacturer of smartphones. Of course, not every buyer of the goods will be watching, and even not everyone is going to spend the money. Some will want to take a look at the event only.

Let it be so justified our circumvent some of these rumors and not by the recollection of them in the pages of BBNews. But we can not remain silent when there is information about a possible interest on the part of Lenovo’s because we have a weakness for ThinkPads (which the Chinese production company took over from IBM). Philosophy excellent physical keyboard and trackpoint with ThinkPads seem to be very similar to the philosophy of the BlackBerry.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Lenovo signed a confidentiality agreement (NDA – non-disclosure agreement) in order to get the financial situation of the BlackBerry. It would be another company after Google, Intel, LG, Cisco, SAP, Samsungu, which is reported in terms of potential interest in taking over a Canadian corporation.

We are interested in your opinion: Who would like to see as the new owner of the BlackBerry, if it came to selling the whole company? Would you prefer it to be a Google, or maybe Samsung? Or maybe, like us, you would not have anything against Lenovo? Prem Watsa, and Mike Lazaridis? Let me know in the comments!
