Well informed sources (including Reuters) report that the BlackBerry turned to the six companies (Cisco, Google, SAP, Intel, LG and Samsung), proposing the purchase of its business – whole or individual units.

Analysts point out that the potential buyer is likely to be interested not manufactured by BlackBerry smartphones, but its patents and IT infrastructure, including a data center located in Canada, which provides its services to 500 operators around the world sclerosis. They use servers, the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Service) working in the city center that provide various business services.

It is estimated that the Canadian city with the entire network infrastructure is worth at least $ 4.5 billion . They speculate, however, that neither Cisco nor any of the following five companies will not be interested in taking over the whole company BlackBerry.

It seems that the two companies are least motivated to to try to take over the BlackBerry. It’s about Google and SAP. Both can afford to finance the transaction, but run by BlackBerry business does not fit into their business. Similarly, the companies Samsung and LG, which also does not seem to be interested in such solutions, BlackBerry, like BBM and BES. It would be probably a good deal for IBM, but the company is not in the group of potential buyers BlackBerry.

BlackBerry issued a few days ago, a statement which you can read that the company has set up a special committee, which “looks a different strategic alternative actions that can be taken in a given situation. ” Therefore, there will be no comment on speculation and take a vote on this issue only when a specific transaction will accept. There will also comment on reports saying that its financial obligations to suppliers of equipment Q10 and Z10 are close to $ 3 billion.
