City of BlackBerry "produced" in poker - Business Pulse

Waterloo is the seat of the BlackBerry company, formerly Research In Motion, big problems now surviving manufacturer of smartphones that were once iconic devices for people finance and biznesu.Okazuje, however, that is not the only reason for popularity of the city.

American magazine Bloomberg Businessweek reports that Canadian city is famous because of poker talent. Affiliated with the University of Waterloo and the local feature Mike McDonald, who in tournaments already earned $ 5.5 million, Mike Watson ($ 6.8 million), Steve Paul-Ambrose ($ 1.9 million) and Xuan Liu (1.4 million), the World Poker Tour recently put on its list of “Ones to Watch”.

argues that the rise in the Canadian city of such habitats poker should not be surprising, because that universities is known for competing in mathematics and engineering, and its students will be happy to recruit such companies as Google, Facebook, or Tesla.
